Leslie purchased me March 1997 as a four year old from Donald Glass. Debbie Shugart (Leslie's Mom) gave me my nickname. |

The first futurity I ever ran in was with Leslie. It was the Hillbilly Classic in Gainesville, FL on November 28-29, 1997 I was 1st in the first go and 6th in the second go, and was Reserve Champion in the average. Instead of Futurities I was run in a lot of local rodeos as a 4 yr. old.

This is a replica of me that Claire Long and Robin Mulkey had made for Leslie when she gradutated College. They made pictures of Me and sent them off so it would have the exact markings. |

Special Effort is my sire. His sire was Raise Your Glass and dam was Go Effortlessly. Special Effort is the Only quarter horse to win the Quarter Horse Triple Crown. He won the Kansas, Rainbow and the All American Futurity. He had 15 starts won 13 races and had one 3rd. $1,219,950 in total earnings. |
